Caher Marketing Services has been collaborating since 2017 in the Alliance for Child Vaccination, created in 2008 by the “la Caixa” Banking Foundation and GAVI the Vaccine Alliance, which has the collaboration of ISGlobal – Barcelona Institute of Global Health as a scientific and academic.
In 2019, Caher has increased his donation and together with other contributions it has contributed to vaccinate more than 6.3 million children in countries in Africa and Latin America.
Many countries suffer year after year other epidemics other than COVID-19, with more mortality, such as pneumonia or measles, HIV as well as polio. Many of these diseases cause the death of a child every 20 seconds, while some of these pathologies can be avoided with vaccines. Therefore, solidarity is very important to get medicines and vaccines.
Pneumonia is the leading cause of global infant mortality. For this reason, Caher has contributed this donation of 6,000 euros, which will be used to distribute the pneumococcal vaccine in Mozambique, thus protecting the child population against this disease.
